This is the only company that I have given a negative review on Amazon. The spinnergy started off well, then I had the exact same problem as a previous reviewer. The handle broke off because of a design flaw. A plastic piece broke off and slid down into the body of the vacuum as I was placing the handle back into place. Thus the handle is useless.
The unit is still under warranty. I brought it to an authorized dealer and was told that the company didn't want to pay to get it repaired, claiming user fault. Not sure how they came to that descision when all I did was slide the handle back into the vacuum.
I tried contacting the company but all I could do was fill out a contact form. The response was a standard form letter. I was instructed to bring the vacuum to an authorized dealer even though I had mentioned that I already did that. There was no contact name on the email, and my original email was not forwarded. Therefore even if tried to contact them again I would have to start over again.
What good is a warranty if they are going to claim user error for every claim? I am not sure if this company is going bankrupt and doesn't care about customer care anymore but it sure seems like it. Get more detail about Dirt Devil M120000 Spinnergy Upright Vacuum Cleaner.
