This is the only company that I have given a negative review on Amazon. The spinnergy started off well, then I had the exact same problem as a previous reviewer. The handle broke off because of a design flaw. A plastic piece broke off and slid down into the body of the vacuum as I was placing the handle back into place. Thus the handle is useless.

The unit is still under warranty. I brought it to an authorized dealer and was told that the company didn't want to pay to get it repaired, claiming user fault. Not sure how they came to that descision when all I did was slide the handle back into the vacuum.

I tried contacting the company but all I could do was fill out a contact form. The response was a standard form letter. I was instructed to bring the vacuum to an authorized dealer even though I had mentioned that I already did that. There was no contact name on the email, and my original email was not forwarded. Therefore even if tried to contact them again I would have to start over again.

My friend had this vacuum and showed it to me. She went over each "specialty" of the machine and then I just had to have it. It has rubber wheels, which is hard to find, retractable cord, great suction, an extention hose that's easy to grab quick then put back, and it's a beautiful machine. saw issues and question when I did my research on the vac. But found those same issue on ALL vacs. Dumping the canister after each use helps quite a bit. I also take the filter out and blow it out every so often. for those that go through belts must not be adjusting the carpet hight setting or have the brush clogged with long hair. I don't love this tool because I find it awkward to use. It lacks the flexibility of my old Dirt Devil, which also had the wedge head, a feature I like.

I find the hose attachment very hard to use because it's not flexible enough, and the machine itself is terribly unwieldy for hose use.

The cord storage is awful, and the on/off switch couldn't be more inconvenient. Well, maybe it could...like at the very bottom of the cleaning head for instance.

It's very noisy. I hate emptying it.

There's just one thing I have to praise to the sky. It has suction power I was floored by (pun intended). This little sucker certainly does that. It works on the few small rugs I have in the kitchen area, well enough to hold them until I use the big serious vacuum cleaner. And on vinyl, it's terrific.
